Competes in Karate and MMA events
Personal:
I grew up in Hayden and trained there under multiple instructors.
While in school I participated in Karate, Football, Wrestling and Track.
In 2006 I began training and fighting in Mixed Martial Arts.
I'm an active member of The Church Revived in Gardendale.
I train at Centerpoint Dojo under Sensei Nichols.

I've had many different instructors over the years but was primarily trained by long time friend Mike Nichols; but would like to acknowledge my other instructors:
Sensei, Shihan Mark Nichols, Shihan Jay Fredrick, and Shihan Doug Benjamin.

In 2003, I began teaching at Hayden Elementary. In 2006, we created a competition team for the Hayden students who were interested in competing in tournaments. Since its beginning, The Hayden Karate Team has racked up 8 State Championships in multiple divisions.

I've been in and around the world of Martial Arts all my life and have seen the evolution of fighting into a world-wide phenomenon. I would encourage anyone who's looking to train, whether it's just for hobby, self-defense or competition, to do so ASAP. I have witnessed the benefits that training has and would recommend it to anyone. I have made life-long friends, competed all around the south, and coached some of greatest kids ever. Karate is more than job to me; It's a lifestyle!
